Two people died after two cars collided head on at the SAJ Semangar water treatment intersection in Kota Tinggi on Monday.
According to Operations Commander, Senior Fire Chief Special for Incumbents (KUP) Shahrulnizam Johari from the Kota Tinggi Fire and Rescue Station (BBP), his office received an emergency call regarding the incident at 7.09 am.



He said that upon receiving the call, a Fire Rescue Tender (FRT) with six firefighters were rushed to the location 20 kilometres away.
“Upon arrival of firefighters at the location at 7.35 am, it was found that the accident involved two cars, a Toyota Vios driven by a 47-year-old woman and a Perodua Bezza driven by a 37-year-old man. Sadly this was a fatal accident.
