Have You Heard Of The 2025 Hefei International New Energy Vehicle Convention

Just last week on September 29, the 2025 Hefei International New Energy Vehicle Convention officially opened at the Binhu International Convention and Exhibition Center in Hefei, China.

Top global automakers gathered to showcase their cutting-edge technologies and latest models, concentrating their strengths in the NEV field and offering the attending media and audience a large-scale automotive extravaganza.

This year’s convention adopts a “1+1+N” format: one NEV conference, one NEV exhibition, and multiple (“N”) themed automotive events, aiming to build a comprehensive NEV industry event that integrates auto trade, technological exchange, investment cooperation, and cultural interaction.

As a “new growth pole” in China’s auto industry, Anhui produced 1.4995 million vehicles in the first half of this year, of which 730,900 were NEVs—both figures ranking first nationwide—raising the province’s profile on the global auto manufacturing map.

At this year’s event, Anhui based local automotive brands such as BYD, Chery, JAC, Changan, NIO, and Volkswagen Anhui showcased their latest technologies and models, allowing visitors to directly experience the province’s shift from quantity to quality in auto manufacturing.

Among them, JAC Group not only displayed its ultra-luxury intelligent electric flagship Maextro S800 and hybrid MPV benchmark Refine RF8, but also presented its innovations in intelligent manufacturing, green mobility, and supply-chain collaboration, highlighting China’s leading strength and innovation vitality in the high-end, intelligent, and green transformation of the auto industry.

In addition, Firefly’s “Glow Fish Leap” painted vehicle—created in partnership with Anhui Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism—also made a striking appearance.
