Jetour T2 Gets Estimated Price Of RM178,888

The Jetour T2 will be priced at just under RM180K when it’s launched here.

JETOUR Malaysia has shared estimated price for its highly anticipated all-terrain premium SUV, the JETOUR T2, set at a competitive RM178,888. The T2 first made its Malaysian debut earlier this year and JETOUR showcased its Right-Hand Drive (RHD) version after we spotted it being road tested.

This strategic move positions Malaysia among the first global markets to experience the T2 in its local configuration, highlighting the country’s importance in JETOUR’s global expansion plans.

Utilitarian Design Meets Premium Sophistication

The JETOUR T2 immediately distinguishes itself with its rugged, boxy design language, a deliberate departure from the sleeker crossovers that dominate the segment. This “hardcore style” is underpinned by its substantial dimensions and imposing stance, measuring 4,785 mm in length (including the tailgate-mounted spare wheel), 2,006 mm in width, and 1,870 mm in height, with a long 2,800 mm wheelbase. This geometry not only conveys an adventure-ready look but also translates into generous interior space for five occupants. Its external features, such as chunky wheel arches, a bold front grille, and utilitarian detailing, are complemented by premium touches, ensuring it appeals to buyers seeking both capability and class.

Off-Road Prowess with Kunpeng Power

The capability promised by its design is delivered by a robust powertrain tailored for versatility. The variant previewed for the Malaysian market, priced at the estimated RM178,888, is the 2.0L TGDi XWD (X Wheel Drive) model.

This model is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged, direct-injection petrol engine. This unit delivers a healthy output of 254 PS (251 hp) and 390 Nm of torque. Power is efficiently managed by a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). It features the X-Intelligent Drive Mode, which automatically switches between two-wheel drive (2WD) and four-wheel drive (4WD) to optimize performance and fuel efficiency across various conditions. The driver is given further control through multiple driving modes, including specialized settings such as Eco, Normal, Sport, Snow, Mud, Rock, and a dedicated XWD mode, alongside an Intelligent Creeping Mode for low-speed off-road maneuvering.

The T2’s structure is built on a unibody (monocoque) platform called the Kunlun architecture. Inside, the T2’s cabin mirrors its exterior philosophy by combining rugged ergonomics with cutting-edge technology. The cockpit features a sophisticated digital interface, highlighted by a large 15.6-inch central touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster for the driver. Connectivity is seamless, offering both Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality.

The premium feel is enhanced by leatherette seats, and in terms of convenience and luxury, features like a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, a 12-speaker Sony Premium sound system, and even the rare inclusion of vacuum doors (often found in higher-end luxury vehicles) elevate the T2’s proposition in its segment.

The Malaysian launch of the JETOUR T2, likely to take place in early 2026, marks the brand’s firm establishment in the local market. By offering an attractive balance of powerful specifications, adventure capability, and premium tech features at its estimated price point, the T2 is set to challenge existing players and capture the attention of Malaysian drivers looking for their next versatile adventure vehicle.
