The Leapmotor B10 Arrives In Malaysia To Challenge Local Electric Cars

Stellantis Malaysia has officially unveiled the all-new electric Leapmotor B10 this morning which is priced close to the Proton e:MAS7 and also Perodua QV-E with the battery leasing cost included.

Building on the momentum established by the Leapmotor C10 debut last year, this strategic market expansion is supported globally by Leapmotor International, a 51:49 joint venture between Stellantis and Leapmotor, specialised in developing high-tech, cost-efficient New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) for key international markets.

The C-segment, all-new electric B10 is the third global Leapmotor model following the compact T03 and the D-segment C10 SUV, and it is integral to the brand’s strategic plan to enhance its presence across more than 20 countries and regions by the end of 2025. This expansion is fuelled by the brand’s recent successes, including rolling off its one-millionth vehicle in September 2025 and delivering an all-time high of 70,327 vehicles for both domestic and export sales in November 2025.

Featuring the brand’s latest intelligent design and technology, the all-new electric B10 utilises the all-new and advanced LEAP3.5 architecture, providing a highly integrated battery-chassis platform designed to deliver a class-leading drive that is comfortable, dynamic, and efficient. The B10 truly embodies the brand’s philosophy of LEAP, redefining the acronym as a promise through Lifestyle-enhancing technology, Efficient Performance, Accessible Price, and Paramount Safety.

A Cosmic Inspiration

The all-new electric Leapmotor B10’s aesthetics blend minimalism with a hint of space-age design. It features a cloudtrail waistline, while the Star Ring dynamic fenders feature a design reminiscent of a planetary halo, showcasing the interplay of light and shadow with layered textures. This design approach conveys visual strength while highlighting Leapmotor’s signature combination of advanced technology with timeless elegance.

The front of the B10 is adorned with a set of full-LED headlamps split from the chequered flag-styled daytime-running lights (DRLs). Additionally, the B10’s rounded edge proportions, sculpted bumper inlay trim, and flushed door handles significantly enhance aerodynamic efficiency, resulting in an impressive Cd rating of just 0.265. The design harmony continues with the pairing of stylish, 18-inch “Star Sports” alloy wheels and a distinctive Wing Star, full-length LED tail light bar at the rear.

Electrified To Withstand Time
Central to the all-new electric Leapmotor B10’s engineering is the new LEAP3.5 architecture and Cell-to-Chassis (CTC) 2.0+ platform, developed with input from the Stellantis Chassis Master team. This platform features significant enhancement, including a highly integrated battery-chassis structure that lowers the center of gravity, achieving a near-perfect 50:50 front-rear weight distribution and 36,360Nm/deg torsional stiffness, resulting in improved driving dynamics and refinement.

Furthermore, the upgraded CTC 2.0+ platform and customised short battery cell solution offers an increase in volumetric energy density whilst freeing up valuable interior space for passengers. The B10’s Electric Drive assembly weighs exceptionally light at just 60kg, and its deep integration contributes to a total vehicle weight reduction of over 20kg, while achieving a maximum efficiency of 94% and a power density of 2.67 kW/kg.

The platform is paired to a Lithium-Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack and a high-efficiency Electric Drive motor system backed with Smart AI monitoring. This intelligent system actively manages operations to enhance stability, safety, battery longevity, and powertrain lifespan.

For performance, the B10 delivers 218 hp (160 kW) and 240 Nm of torque, enabling a zero to 100 km/h sprint time of just 8 seconds. Its 2.5C (400V platform) fast-charging capability allows the B10 to achieve a class-leading 30%–80% DC charging time of under 20 minutes, and a WLTP range rated at 434 KM.

To ensure consistent performance and extended battery life under demanding conditions, the B10 utilises advanced thermal management capable of detecting both ambient and operating temperatures, as well as the state of charge (SoC). The battery’s liquid-cooling system and the electric motor’s dedicated oil-cooling system works together to improve safety, thermal stability, and long-term reliability.

The B10, positioned in the C-segment, presents generous exterior dimensions. It measures 4,515 millimetres in length, 1,885 millimetres in width, and 1,655 millimetres in height, all underpinned by a 2,735 millimetres wheelbase. Ground clearance is rated at 170 millimetres.

Connectivity Designed Around You

The all-new electric Leapmotor B10’s digital ecosystem is powered by an intelligent, centralised control system anchored by a state-of-the-art Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 8155 chip. This advanced 7nm platform, equipped with up to 16GB of memory and an integrated Adreno 640 GPU, ensures fast, responsive displays with crisp graphics and smooth user interaction.

At the heart of the interior is the 14.6-inch central infotainment screen, which runs the latest Leap OS 4.0 Plus. This intuitive system delivers a customisable and visually engaging interface and supports seamless and unlimited Over-the-Air (OTA) updates, which will include the introduction of Apple Carplay & Android Auto from January 2026.

Drivers are supported by a 8.8-inch instrument screen to view vital data, while the standard 360° panoramic camera system ensures effortless navigation in tight urban spaces. Connectivity is further enhanced with the available Mobile App Remote Control, which allows users to monitor various vehicle statuses, adjust climate controls, and even remote lock and unlock functionality.

Where Space Meets Innovation
The elegant cabin environment of the all-new electric Leapmotor B10 is designed with an uncompromising focus on premium materials and detail. Inside, occupants will find exquisite Bamboo leaf embroidery detailing, adjustable ambient lighting, and high-quality trims throughout. Elevating the experience in the range-topping DESIGN variant, the seating is upholstered in OEKO-Tex Standard 100® silicone textile for enhanced comfort and occupant safety.

Focusing on exceptional driver and passenger comfort, the B10 boasts a generous 2,390mm of interior passenger space. The cabin provides a host of power adjustments and memory settings, with the driver’s seat featuring 6-way power adjustment and the front passenger seat offering 4-way power adjustment.

Both front seats include built-in ventilation functions. Centrally located, a new floating multi-purpose island integrates an armrest, a dual mobile phone holder with a 15-watt wireless charging pad, and ample additional storage space. The cabin also offers generous headroom — 1,027 millimetres in the front and 1,005 millimetres in the rear — ensuring comfort for occupants of all sizes.

Emphasising practicality, the B10’s cabin incorporates 22 ergonomically designed storage spaces throughout the cabin. The boot offers a spacious 430 litres and is expandable to a cavernous 1,700 litres with the rear seats folded flat, complemented by a 25-litre front trunk (frunk) for additional secure storage.

The B10 is available in three customisable driving modes, starting with Comfort, Standard and Sport, allowing drivers to tailor their preferred at-the-wheel experience. Passengers benefit from the spaciousness created by the large panoramic glass roof, which includes a built-in electric sunshade for optimal comfort.


A Safety Benchmark

The all-new electric Leapmotor B10 proudly achieved a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating, scoring an impressive 93% for both adult and child protection. This places the B10 among the highest-rated Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) in its class.

Complementing this structural safety, the B10 offers a comprehensive suite of features, including seven airbags, 12 high-precision sensors and 17 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), achieving Level 2 autonomous driving capability. The comprehensive list of ADAS functions include:

Outside, there are five striking colours: Metallic Black, Light White, Tundra Grey, Dawn Purple, and Starry Night Blue. The Starry Night Blue is a signature colour that draws inspiration from over 300 different shades found in Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night over the Rhone’ artwork.

Maintenance, Battery & Vehicle Warranty

The all-new electric Leapmotor B10 is supported by a comprehensive warranty package: a 6-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty* and an 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty, whichever comes first. Service intervals are set at 1-year or 20,000 km, whichever comes first.
