So, here are 5 reasons why your should consider buying this latest Proton Saga

  • It has new 1.5-litre naturally aspirated i-GT 4-cylinder engine that delivers 120 PS and 150Nm which means it offers better performance. Transmission choices include a reliable 4-speed automatic (4AT) or a smoother ‘Punch’ CVT.
  • In the looks department, it features a “facelift” with full LED projector headlamps with daytime running lights (DRL), a new 15-inch alloy wheel design and a redesigned grille with a ‘Sulaman Songket’ motif’.
  • Step inside the high roof cabin and you now get a modernised cabin with a 16-inch dual-screen setup (combining infotainment and instrumentation), wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and a sporty flat-bottom steering wheel.
  • Its safety features have been increased. It is built on an Advanced Modular Architecture (AMA) platform, featuring hot-press-formed (HPF) steel for improved rigidity. The Premium variant includes Active Safety Features (ADAS), such as Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) and Forward Collision Warning.
  • Some added comfort features include auto-fold side mirrors, a push-start button, rear adjustable headrests, and a 3 kg capacity hook.
