The all-electric Toyota bZ4X arrives in Malaysia fully-imported from Japan.
The Toyota bZ4X arrives in Malaysia from RM 220,000.00. This is a facelifted model which was globally premiered last year. Built on the e-TNGA platform, the bZ4X has a low center of gravity and high vehicle rigidity.
Performance and Long-Range Efficiency
The bZ4X is powered by a front-mounted electric motor delivering 167 kW and 269 Nm of torque, providing the smooth and quiet acceleration.
Key powertrain highlights include:
- Cruising Range: A 73.1 kWh lithium-ion battery enables a travel distance of up to 525 km on a full charge.
- Rapid Charging: Utilizing a DC fast-charger (max 150 kW), owners can reach an 80% charge in approximately 30 minutes.
- Battery Durability: Toyota has set a target of 90% capacity retention after 10 years or 250,000 km of use.
Hi-Tech Design and “Bathtub” Interior
Following a “Hi-Tech and Emotion” theme, the exterior features a distinctive ‘Hammerhead’ 3-dimensional front shape and aerodynamic detailing that results in a low drag coefficient of 0.27 Cd.
Inside, the cabin is designed as an open, “bathtub-like” space with a low dashboard to provide the driver with an unobstructed field of vision. The centerpiece is a 14-inch high-resolution multimedia display featuring wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and enhanced voice recognition.
