Well, you will need USD83,000 and a donor Toyota AE86 to own this.
This TOM’S Racing AE86 Heritage project is a comprehensive “reconstruction” of the iconic Toyota AE86 Corolla Levin, developed by TOM’S Heritage to celebrate the brand’s 50th anniversary. This program transforms original vehicles into modernized restomods that blend 1980s tuner aesthetics with modern performance and durability.

This is no simple tuning project. The unibody is repaired for corrosion and strengthened with additional spot welding and reinforcement. Then a reworked underfloor incorporates ground effects for improved high-speed stability without altering the classic exterior silhouette. The final touch is the revived 15-inch TOM’S Igeta lattice wheels (now two-piece construction) wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza RE-11RS tires.
So what do you get in terms of figures?
Engine: Fully built 1.6-liter (1626cc) 4A-GE, bored out from 81mm to 82mm. Did you know that Toyota announced in September last year (2025) that they are currently remanufacturing cylinder heads and blocks for the iconic 4A-GE four-cylinder, as part of their GR Heritage Parts Project.
Power Output: Produces 192–195PS at 7,980 rpm, a significant jump from the stock output.
Torque: Peak torque of 191Nm (141lb-ft) at 6,490 rpm.
Technical Upgrades: Includes a direct injection ignition system (replacing the distributor), Individual Throttle Bodies (ITBs), a Link ECU, and a bespoke “TOSCO-style” upswept header.
