Denza N9 Flash Charge Edition Launches from RMB409,800
On May 18, the Denza N9 Flash Charge Edition officially launched, offering three variants: Flash Charge Prestige, Flash Charge Explorer, and Flash Charge Flagship, with official guidance prices ranging from RMB409,800 to RMB469,800 (RM260k upwards).
The vehicle is positioned as a “Tech-Driven Flagship SUV.” All variants come standard with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and Flash Charge technology, delivering a pure electric range of 420 km and a combined range of up to 1,520 km.
In terms of charging performance, it takes just 5 minutes to charge from 10% to 70% state of charge (SOC), and 9 minutes from 10% to 97% SOC.

Even in extreme cold conditions of -30°C, charging from 20% to 97% SOC takes only 12 minutes. BYD has already built over 6,000 Flash Charge stations nationwide and plans to expand this network to 20,000 by year-end.
For driving dynamics, the N9 is built on Denza’s Yi-Sanfang (Easy Tri-Motor) technology platform, featuring triple-motor independent drive and a dual rear-motor independent steering system. It achieves a minimum turning radius of 4.65 meters, accelerates from 0–100km/h in 3.7 seconds, and stops from 100 km/h in just 36.4 meters.

Additional features include Yunniu-A dual-chamber closed-loop air springs, Road Preview 2.0, and an intelligent anti-motion-sickness system. Safety-wise, the Denza N9 employs a hybrid CTB (Cell-to-Body) integrated battery-body structure, achieving a torsional rigidity close to 40,000 Nm. According to the manufacturer, the vehicle earned top ratings across all five categories in the China Insurance Automotive Safety Index (C-IASI) 2025 evaluation.
Active safety capabilities include high-speed emergency lane-change stability without rollover, high-speed blowout stability, and resistance to crosswind-induced deviation. It also features the 4E Intelligent Active Safety System and an accelerator pedal misapplication prevention function.

In terms of intelligence, the N9 comes standard with the “God’s Eye” 5.0 advanced driver-assistance system, supporting urban and highway navigation-assisted driving as well as full-scenario parking, including Yi-Sanfang parking.
The cabin features a next-generation AI-powered smart cockpit with six-zone voice interaction, dialect recognition, and integrated navigation and vehicle control assistants, powered by the full-capability DeepSeek large language model. Exterior color options now include nine choices, such as Dark Night Gold and Midnight Silver Glow.
Interior trims expand beyond the original Cloud Brocade Beige to add Agarwood Brown, Coral Red, and Amber Brown. Standard equipment includes 22-inch mirror-finish forged alloy wheels, extra-wide electric side steps, and an AR projection-sensing tailgate.
The cabin offers three rows of seating, with the second row featuring lateral sliding and near-zero-gravity recline functions. The vehicle provides 46 storage compartments throughout and a trunk capacity ranging from 351 to 1,140 liters.
