To those who currently own a three-pointed star, there will soon be a new place in Kuala Lumpur to give it some factory-spec TLC. Such is as NZ Wheels is set to soon open its brand-new Mercedes-Benz 2S (service and spare parts) centre in Setapak, replacing the outgoing facility that has long served customers within the vicinity.
Set to occupy a whole acre of land, this upcoming outlet has been purpose-built with the aim to offer a more comprehensive Mercedes-Benz ownership experience. The new 2S facility boasts a total built-up area of 1,005 square metres, with the expansive dedicated spaces geared primarily towards a comprehensive aftersales operation.
Now of that total space, roughly 700 square metres are to be dedicated towards ensuring one’s Benz receives the maintenence befitting its premium badge. The service area here is set to feature multiple maintenance and repair bays, allowing NZ Wheels to cater to a larger volume of vehicles more efficiently.
More importantly too, the facility will also include dedicated TEV (Top-End Vehicle) bays specifically tailored for the upper echelons of the Mercedes-Benz lineup. Or to put it another way, owners of high-performance AMG and ultra-luxurious Maybach models may soon have another specialised maintenance destination to consider within the Klang Valley.
The remaining approximately 300 square metres within this new NZ Wheels Setapak 2S facility meanwhile are set aside for a dedicated customer lounge, ensuring owners are able to enjoy a comfortable and premium waiting experience while servicing work is being carried out.
Designed around Mercedes-Benz’s latest contemporary retail identity, the space adopts a modern and sophisticated aesthetic aimed at satisfying the discerning tastes of both new and existing customers alike.
Rounding things off externally are ample customer parking spaces, with the facility’s spacious overall layout additionally earmarked as a potential venue for exclusive customer engagement and service-related events in the future
