VW’s Cergaz Autohaus To Open In May
Volkswagen Group Malaysia (VGM) has recently appointed Cergaz Autohaus Sdn Bhd as its new authorized dealer for Volkswagen passenger cars in Malaysia. Cergaz Autohaus will operate a 3S (sales, service and spare parts) outlet in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail. “Cergaz Autohaus Sdn Bhd, being the newest member of the Volkswagen family, is no stranger to the automotive industry, having been in the industry for many years and considered premium due to their experience in dealing with, understand and appreciating first-rate international auto brands,” said Mr Andreas Prinz, Managing Director of VGM.

Cergaz Autohaus is a wholly owned subsidiary of KLSE-listed Permaju Industries Bhd which has been on an aggressive expansion trail in its automotive business since it’s grand entrance via its wholly-owned subsidiary, Cergazam Sdn Bhd that was awarded three Chevrolet 3S Dealerships, in Petaling Jaya, Penang, and Johore Bharu in November 2007 and on the Penang Island in November 2008.

Cergaz Autohaus set out with the objective to create a highly visible automotive landmark in the area, something that people will easily identify with a global brand like VW. The total area of the purposed-built modern VW TTDI 3S centre is 47,300 sq. ft. It will have a 7,000 sq. ft. showroom on the Ground Level that includes a display area for 6-8 cars, a comfortable customers’ lounge and the VW Merchandise display section.
The workshop will be at the Basement Level with a total area of 19,000 sq. ft. that will have 10 work bays, Spare Parts Store and Special Tools Room. It will also house the VGM Technical Service Centre with training facilities such as a classroom that could accommodate 30 trainees and two work bays with hoists for practical training. The office area will be located on Level One with a total area of 8,300 sq. ft. Level Two of the VW TTDI 3S Centre will have a 13,000 sq. ft. car yard that can park about 80 cars.

That is why we have worked hard to set up the modern facility so that VW customers can get the best pre and after sales services from Cergaz Autohaus and we are confident in delivering on our promise,” he added.
Cergaz Autohaus is confident their modern 3S Centre that will be backed by a highly trained professional team will be able to enhance the level of customers’ satisfaction.
