Pajun, that is the name Porsche marketing will give to their soon to be released compact sports sedan. After the popular Cayenne and the new Panamera, Porsche knows that they have the pulling power to enter new segments and will launch the Pajun by 2016. The Pajun will use an advanced architecture known as MSB or modular rear-wheel (or all-wheel) drive matrix. Moreover, the new car will use a new family of modular V6 and V8 petrol engines and will also offer a hybrid version, just like the Panamera hybrid powered by a V6 engine. Furthermore, the Porsche Pajun will spawn more versions such as a convertible, a coupe or even a shooting brake. The entry-level Pajun will receive a range of 3.0 and 3.6-litre V6 engines. The V8-powered versions will deliver between 400 and 550 hp (Pajun Turbo). The engines will be mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (PDK) but what is really interesting is that Porsche will also offer a seven-speed manual from the all-new 2012 991 sports car.
