PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad Unveils Malaysia’s First Mobile Fuel Dispenser At Formula 1 Track
PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (PDB) recently hosted day-long festivities to celebrate the success of its PRIMAX line of fuels with 600 special invitees at the Sepang International Circuit. During the event, the Company also unveiled Malaysia’s very first mobile fuel dispenser, the PETRONAS PRIMAX Mobile Fuel Dispenser, which will enable race cars within the circuit to be fuelled by PETRONAS’ high-powered PRIMAX fuels right on the track.
The event, aptly named PETRONAS Xtrack, comprised all the ‘extra’ pleasures that the guests enjoyed at the Formula 1 track. PDB invited its loyal customers, business partners and media friends to join in the celebration to reward and recognise them for making the PETRONAS PRIMAX line of fuels a continuing success.
During the PETRONAS Xtrack, Amir Hamzah Azizan, the MD/CEO of PDB said, “Today’s event marks yet another achievement for PDB as the PETRONAS PRIMAX fuel has made its name on the F1 race track globally, including here at the Sepang International Circuit. We want to share this important day with all of you who have, in one way or another, fuelled PDB’s success.”
“Our years of strategic partnerships with the Formula One teams have resulted in a solid team of fuel technology experts at PDB. From developing fuel for the race track, the R&D team has now translated that technology on to the road for the benefit of our Malaysian customers. The introduction of the PETRONAS PRIMAX Mobile Fuel Dispenser is a clear testimony of the success of the quality and performance of our PRIMAX line of fuels,” he explained.
During the event, the guests, along with their families and friends, were treated to a host of exciting activities, which included the Taxi Ride, where they got to experience real racing around the race track. To further add to the excitement, the Drift Experience, Racing Simulator, Go Kart and Pocket Bike were also arranged for guests’ enjoyment. Moreover, the activities were fuelled by PETRONAS PRIMAX fuel, thus allowing riders to experience the superior quality of its fuels on the tracks.
Moving forward, PDB is committed to continue to organise more events such as the PETRONAS Xtrack to reward its customers who have shaped PDB to become the industry’s leader today. Previously, PDB has been organising several events with the similar objective such as the Road to Rewards ‘Ride the RM3 million Wave’ campaign that rewarded RM3 million worth of prizes to its loyal customers as well as the PETRONAS Fuel-up promotion during which winners were presented with a total of 20 Apple iPads.
