0Audi A6L e-Tron Unveiled At The Beijing Motor Show 2012
Based on the new Audi A6 L which is Audi’s bestselling model in China, this new concept car combines the TFSI engine with an electric motor. This means that under the hood we will find a 2.0 TFSI that delivers 211 hp with an electric motor producing 95 hp peak power. The concept also has a liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery located in a collision-protected space at the rear of the vehicle. As expected, the A6 L e-Tron Concept offers can act as an electric car and can travel up to 80 km at a constant speed of 60 km/h. The new A6 L e-Tron Concept measures has a 3.01 meter wheelbase, is 5.02 meters long and 1.87 meters wide, but only 1.46 meters tall. Comparing it with the production car, the concept car features a single-frame grille with slender cross-bars and the nearly covered air intakes, 21-inch wheels in e-tron design and a special rear diffuser. Inside the cabin, the A6 L e-Tron features a luxurious interior and offers a lot of space at all seating positions. The seats offer ventilation and massage functions.
