Perodua tweckbot rolls out for Ramadan
PERODUA is providing free 20-point vehicle inspection service with the added convenience of even having it done right at their doorsteps for the upcoming Hari Raya Balik Kampung rush. “We are very encouraged with the many positive responses from our customers in the northern, east coast and southern regions since the launch of our Tweckbot service on 13 July 2012,” PERODUA Managing Director Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said.
“We wish all Malaysians, especially our customers a safe journey during the Hari Raya Aidil Fitri period. Getting their vehicles checked or service before embarking on their road journey should be given top priority,” he said. “This Tweckbot service is part of PERODUA’s Road Safety campaign for the festive period. It is also very much in line with the company’s tagline “Because You Matter Most,” he pointed out.
First launched in July 2011, the PERODUA Tweckbot programme enables owners of PERODUA vehicles to make an appointment with a mobile inspection team via Twitter, Facebook or short messaging system (SMS). Customers can reach PERODUA Tweckbot team by tweeting @MYPerodua or Facebook.com/ MYPerodua or SMS to 016602 0287.
Aminar said customers have commended PERODUA for making the safety checks very convenient to them, even to the point having it done right at their door steps or when they go shopping. “Other feedback received from customers include why their housing areas or work place areas were not covered by the 5 Tweckbot teams when they visited their town,” he added.

Aminar said PERODUA will take note of all the customers’ feedback on the Tweckbot and strive to enhance the service in the future. PERODUA Tweckbot team visited Kulai, Senai and Johor Bahru last weekend and will also be visiting selected locations in the Klang Valley this weekend.
The PERODUA Tweckbot team schedules are as follows:
Central Region:
3 August – Taipan USJ, Shah Alam
4 August – Jelatek, Keramat
5 August – Sg Buloh, Kota Damansara.
The 20-point safety checks to PERODUA vehicles includes inspection of the engine, transmission, cooling system, brake system, power steering system, clutch system, tyres, suspension system, electrical system, passenger compartment and doors. The PERODUA Tweckbot teams only perform inspections, and in the event that repairs are needed, they will advise the customer accordingly to bring their vehicles to the nearest PERODUA service outlets. Discounts of 20% for selected parts and accessories are applicable. Kelab Automotif PERODUA Malaysia (KAPMA) members enjoy an additional 10% discount.
