Lotus To Build The Alpine and Emerg-e

Lotus might build the new Renault Alpine and the Infiniti Emerg-e supercar. This is latest news circulating in the industry and Lotus is keen to maximise its sports car building facility. Still, Infiniti management has yet to confirm this but what we do know so far is that the Lotus Evora 414E Concept is actually based on the Emerg-e. Infiniti’s design boss Shiro Nakamura told the reporters recently that the new car could be built in Britain and this would make perfect sense as the concept has mostly been developed in the UK.

Regarding the new Renault Alpine, Renault marketing boss Steve Norman said that the project is very big and needs more than the Renault-Nissan Alliance on its own. This means that both models could use the Evora platform. All this is good news for the Malaysian owned sports car company that is seeking income to build its own range of super cars.
