Volvo V60 Goes Racing In 2013. This Is Its BTCC Challenger

This is the Volvo V60 Racing which is powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder T5 engine and delivers more than 250hp. It is Volvo’s new racing car for the 2013 BTCC challenge. The Volvo V6 Racing has a paint scheme that offers a tribute to the winning Volvo 850 station wagons that participated in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) during the 1990s and took all by surprise with its looks (yea a full sized wagon went racing and won).

The V60 Racing is equipped with a set of 18-inch wheels covered with Michelin Pilot Sport 2 rubber. Meanwhile, the powerplant is partnered with a six-speed, dual-clutch transmission. It’s expected that we will soon see more of the Volvo V6 Racing wagon in action. Many fans are hopeful that the dual-clutch transmission will be used in coming showroom models.
