“Malaysia’s transition towards electrified mobility has reached an important milestone. Surpassing 30,000 Proton e.MAS registrations in just 20 months reflects the growing confidence Malaysians have in electric mobility and demonstrates how quickly xEVs have become part of everyday consideration for car buyers. Every new Proton e.MAS owner has also helped strengthen the ecosystem that supports future EV adoption.” — Zhang Qiang, CEO of PRO-NET.

Retail Network, Live Charging Integration, and Production Capacity

To support rapid customer adoption, distributor PRO-NET has established a comprehensive national ownership ecosystem:

  • Dealer Footprint: Expanded to 58 active dealerships, 45 dedicated service centers, and 10 Body & Paint centers nationwide.
  • Live Charging Network: The integrated Proton e.MAS Live Charging Map now provides access to over 4,700 public charging points, representing over 90% national coverage.
  • Condominium Charging Solutions: Covers more than 1,500 charging points across 600 residential high-rises, offering preferential charging rates from as low as RM0.63 per kWh when processed via the official Proton e.MAS app.
