Triumph Tiger 800XC In The Raw

The Triumph Tiger 800 XC is always ready for adventure. The bike features a bullet proof built quality a razor sharp design and top notch ergonomics. Talking about ergonomics, the bike features a comfortable two-piece adjustable seat, hand guards and a built in immobilizer. For increased practicality the bike features a high capacity generator designed to allow the fitment of multiple electrical accessories. The Triumph Tiger 800 XC also comes with standard tapered aluminum bars and lightweight cast wheels (19” front and 17” rear). Moreover, a well appointed rear rack doubles up as a passenger grab rail.
The Triumph Tiger 800 XC is powered by a liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, in-line three-cylinder, with a capacity of 799cc and a maximum power of 95 hp achieved at 9000 rpm. The engine is paired with a six speed transmission and delivers a fuel consumption of 41 mpg in the city and 63 mpg on the highway. The Tiger 800 XC has been fully equipped to handle autobahns and green lanes with equal aplomb.
The 800cc three-cylinder engine sets new standards in the adventure bike class, smoothly delivering plentiful torque at low revs for accurate off-road riding and combining it with more than adequate top end power for relaxed high-speed cruising.
With its rugged steel frame and long travel suspension the Tiger 800 XC has been designed for the rough stuff, with a host of optional accessories available for riders planning to spend more time off the pavement than on it.

The high specification includes a factory-fitted immobilizer, adjustable 45mm upside down front forks, adjustable rider seat and hand guards. Adjustable tapered aluminum handlebars add a touch of class and off-road durability to the Tiger 800 XC, while the optional anti-lock braking system can be switched off for off-road riding.

Twin 308mm discs are gripped by two-piston sliding caliper brakes for powerful and progressive stopping power. Optional ABS system adds additional braking security and can be switched on and off by the rider.

Rider seat has two settings as standard for 31.9in to 32.7in seat height. Optional accessory saddle further reduces seat height by a further .8in, making the Tiger 800 the most accessible adventure bike on the market. Adjustable handlebars further enhance rider comfort.
