Jaguar To Challenge 911 Turbo With F-Type R-S Coupe

Jaguar owners, Tata Motors are preparing the F-Type R-S Coupe to take on the Porsche 911 Turbo. The Jaguar F-Type R-S Coupe will deliver over 700bhp and will be capable to achieve a top speed of over 200mph or 320km/h. A Jaguar source revealed the fact that the new car will be insane and that it will look fantastic in the French Racing Blue paint scheme seen on the XKR-S. What is more interesting is that the new F-Type R-S Coupe could use some of the technology developed for the C-X75 hybrid supercar, which was cancelled recently.

A little information first, the C-X75 used a turbocharged and supercharged 1.6-liter petrol engine twinned with multiple electric motors. The bad news is that we will have to wait for the sporty F-Type R-S as the standard F-Type Coupe will only arrive next year. Sources say that the F-Type R-S will not go into production until at least 2016 and this will give Porsche engineers time to release and even more awesome 911 Turbo.
