0Mazda3 2014 Model With SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY.
Mazda has officially unveiled the 2014 Mazda3. This all new Mazda3 model comes with a modern look thanks to Kodo-Soul of Motion philosophy and with SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY. The new Mazda3 has a wheelbase of 2.700 millimeters which is 61 mm longer than the previous generation. Thia 3 is 45.6 mm shorter than the current version but it gains 40.6 mm in width. According to Mazda officials “the rear seatbacks are nearly 52 mm taller for added passenger comfort”. For now only a 5 door hatchback has been introduced with the sedan and the hot hatch MPS to come later.
At launch, the 2014 Mazda3 will have two 4-cylinder petrol engines. We are talking about the SKYACTIV-G 2.0 liter engine with 155 horsepower and 150 lb-ft peak of torque currently found in the Mazda6 and CX-5 and the SKYACTIV-G 2.5 liter with 184 horsepower and 185 lb-ft peak of torque. The all new SKYACTIV-Drive gear box is included together with the new i-ELOOP brake energy regeneration system which stores the electricity generated when the vehicle decelerates which is standard in the all new Mazda6.
Inside the cabin shows a more premium feel with added technology from the Mazda6. You will find the new i-ACTIVSENSE system which includes High Beam Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Departure Warning System, Forward Obstruction Warning, Smart City Brake Support and Radar Cruise Control and more. We wait eagerly for the all new Mazda3 MPS hot hatch to arrive.
