BMW Group Malaysia introduces the All New BMW 316i.
BMW Group Malaysia has introduced the all new BMW 316i. The new BMW 316i features the latest innovations and technologies that are made available by BMW and is indistinguishable from its imported counterparts, resulting from the on-going transfer of advanced BMW assembly line technology, practices and standards to the country.
With the new BMW 316i, the successful BMW 3 Series will for the first time feature the highly-efficient BMW TwinPower Turbo 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engine. Generating a maximum output of 100 kw/ 135hp and a maximum torque of 220 Nm, the spirited BMW 316i is also equipped with VALVETRONIC and twin-scroll turbocharging which enables it to hit the 0-100 km/h dash in 9.2 seconds and achieve a top speed of 210 km/h. Power transfer is additionally made effective via BMW’s award winning 8-speed automatic transmission which provides superior shift dynamics as well as barely perceptible gear shifts.
The all new BMW 316i also continues to demonstrate BMW’s exemplary achievements in BMW EfficientDynamics with an average EU test cycle fuel consumption level of 5.9 litres to every 100km travelled. Driving Experience Control is also a standard feature in the new BMW 316i with BMW’s COMFORT, SPORT and ECO PRO modes all available at the touch of a button.
Exterior colour options for the all new BMW 316i include Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Melbourne Red, Glacier Silver, and Mineral Grey. All cars are only available with Leather Dakota Black interior and upholstery offering. The all new BMW 316i is now open for booking at all authorised BMW dealerships across the country. The retail price (on the road, without insurance, with BMW Service + Repair Inclusive (BS+RI) for the new, locally assembled BMW 316i (Subject to government approved selling price.) is: RM209,800.00.
