Nissan X-Trail Replacement For 2014

This is the first image of the next generation Nissan Terrano which will be officially launched in 2014. There is a good chance it will come to Malaysia as the Nissan X-Trail replacement. This SUV is primarily a rebadged Dacia Duster. Although this Terrano/X-Trail will be based on the Dacia, there is a good chance that the body panels will be modified to differentiate it.

A new rear end will complement the new front end seen in this sketch and new alloys and an altered interior are expected. There is no information to date on the engine range confirmation that will be offered however the Dacia uses a 1.6 or 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.5-litre commonrail diesel. This new car is set to be produced in the Renault-Nissan plant in Chennai, India, where the Dacia Duster is currently built.
