Audi Q8 On The Way

Audi will introduce in 2015 a Q8 SUV Coupe, a vehicle based on the next-generation Q7, that will take on all new SUVs from the competitors. BMW is rumored to launch the X7 and Mercedes has plans for the GL Coupe. Audi will offer a high end SUV featuring a striking design consisting of an updated front grille, redesigned LED lights, flared wings and futuristic taillights. Comparing it with the new Q7, the Q8 will be positioned higher and despite its size it will be an elegant vehicle. If the Q7 successor will offer a four-cylinder gasoline engine, the upcoming Q8 will probably ditch the powerplant as Audi wants to offer a more expensive third-row SUV. Still, the Audi Q8 might receive the four-cylinder engine but only in the hybrid version. The well-known 3.0-liter V6 diesel and petrol engine will be the most popular choices on the Q8, but Audi will also offer a mower powerful V8 petrol engine with around 435 hp. Moreover, a V8 diesel engine will be available, developing around 400 hp. All Audi Q8 models will be offered as standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Inside the cabin of the Q8 will offer the latest technology Audi is developing and will be outfitted with the best materials to be luxurious enough to challenge the new Bentley and Jaguar SUVs. More details will be revealed in a few weeks.
