Brand New Hyundai For Lucky Hyundai Owners

Winning a car or free holiday might have been the last thing eight Hyundai buyers had on their minds when they bought their Hyundai cars, but the unexpected windfall came as a pleasant surprise indeed. Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) held a prize presentation ceremony for the Grand Prize and First Prize winners of the One for Me, One for Mom contest, which was held recently in conjunction with Mother’s Day.

Customers who purchased a Hyundai car by 31^st May 2013 and participated in a trivia qualified for six weekly draws which could win them a holiday trip to South Korea or win the grand draw prize of a Veloster 1.6L (AT) Standard or the 1^st prize of a Hyundai-Inokom i10 Colourz 1.1L.

Adida Hanim binti Abdul Hanim, 38, was announced the Grand Prize winner of a brand new Hyundai Veloster 1.6L (AT) Standard while Kiew Sew Peng, 55, was the First Prize winner of the Hyundai-Inokom i10 Colourz 1.1L. They were both equally surprised when contacted by Hyundai on their win.

“I was pleasantly surprised when I received the call informing me that I was the Grand Prize winner. I was so happy and excited,” said Anida, a process control engineer. She added that the new Veloster made travelling within the city centre convenient for her without having to drive out the much larger Hyundai MPV, the Grand Starex Royale, which she had recently purchased. “The large MPV is much more suitable for a whole family outing and long distance balik kampung trips whereas the Veloster is not only stylish but an ideal car for everyday use as it’s spacious enough for my small family,” said Anida.

Kiew, the first Prize Winner said she couldn’t believe it at first when she received the phone call. “I was shocked and surprised at the same time. It is timely that we have another car as my eldest son needs it to move around,” said the Japanese restaurant owner from Penang. Kiew said she bought the MD Elantra because she liked the design of the car very much but little did she know then that she would win another car.

Mr Lau Yit Mun, Managing Director of HSDM, was present at the ceremony to congratulate and officially hand over the car keys to the winners. “We are glad that we could spread some cheer and happiness through this contest. It feels great to see our customers happy and we hope to be able to make more customers happy through our innovative services and marketing activities,” said Mr Lau.

Winners of the six weekly draw who won themselves a 6 day 4 night trip to South Korea (for 2 adults and 2 children) were Siti Zarina Bt Riduan from Perak, Tan Kim Hock from Sandakan, Sabah, Teh Hui Hoon from Penang, as well as Tham See Ling and Low Hong Siang both from the Klang Valley.
