Ford Everest Concept 2014 Model 1st Picture

Ford Australia has just unveiled the Everest Concept. This is a Ranger-based seven-seater SUV that replaces the aging current Everest which has been a good seller in Malaysia, India and Philippines. Ford marketing says the Everest was designed in Australia by the same team that brought to market the award winning all new Ranger pickup. The previews a this global production design will “set a new benchmark among SUVs” and offer exceptional “off-road capability and toughness.”

“This is our vision for a large, seven-seat off-road SUV to allow our customers to take on the world and it was created by our world-class design team here in Australia,” said Mark Fields, Ford Motor Co. chief operating officer. “We believe our customers will love the distinctive design, which clearly showcases the Ford Everest Concept’s exceptional off-road capability and toughness.”
