Toyota Yaris turbo hatch launched in Japan
This Toyota Vitz has been tuned by GRMN Turbo and has just been launched only for the Japanese domestic market, boosting looks and performance that rivals some European hot hatchbacks.
Based on the Japanese badged Toyota Yaris and previewed as a concept model at the recent Tokyo Auto Salon in January 2013, the Vitz GRMN Turbo comes from the Gazoo Racing stable and is limited to just 200 units. Delivering 112kW at 6000rpm and 206Nm at 4000rpm, the turbocharged Vitz trumps its naturally aspirated 1.5-litre four-cylinder base car by 32kW and 65Nm.
