Back in 2009, Ford started the production for the EcoBoost engine range. Now, Ford Motor Company is proud to announce that they have managed to build a staggering two million EcoBoost engines.  Currently, Ford is producing 100,000 EcoBoost engines every month, a big increase compared to the 2012, when they managed to build 65,000 motors per month. The 2-millionth EcoBoost engine is a 2.0 liter engine and it will be installed in a Ford Escape produced in Louisville, Kentucky. According to Ford, almost 80% of its global vehicle model lineup will be delivered with an EcoBoost engine by the end of this 2013.
