Toyota Innova Facelift On The Way
The Toyota Innova has been a middle class family favourite people carrier for many years, however the competition have brought MPV’s with better features and drive dynamics in the last 2 years and so a much needed facelift is on its way to keep the Innova interest alive. This Innova facelift will be launched with a new flagship variant which would be dubbed as the ‘Z’ variant in ASEAN markets soon. This variant would come with a new infotainment system and some much needed cabin upgrades the basic variant.
It may be noted that the current generation of Innova has been on sale for almost a decade now and the next generation model is still sometime away from making its public debut. Hence, it is only logical for Toyota to come up with a facelift and keep the excitement for its ASEAN MPV. The Innova facelift sports a refreshed front and rear fascia, with the car getting a really big front grille with a lot of additional chrome garnishing, a new front bumper, a bigger rear number plate housing, a pair of reflectors positioned on the fifth door and a revised rear bumper design. UMW Toyota has not revealed the Toyota Innova facelift launch date but we will update you all as soon as the official announcement is made.
