0Hyundai All New Accent With Executive Car Features
Hyundai has just unveiled their 2014 Accent. The 2014 Accent will come with a series of exterior modifications and additional standard equipment. According to Hyundai, the 2014 Accent will feature in standard the driver side blind spot mirror, sliding sun visors and one-touch triple turn signals. Furthermore, the entry-level audio system will be greater and it features new button layout and better voice recognition technology.
For the Premium four dour version and SE five door version, the buyers will get LED-infused projector beam headlights, a telescopic steering wheel and an auto driver side window. More than that, the five-door SE version can also be equipped with B&M Racing sport shifter.
A long list of safety features is included as standard equipment on all 2014 Accent models.
A total of six airbags help protect occupants in the event of a collision, including two front impact airbags, two front seat-mounted side impact airbags, and curtain side-impact airbags for front and rear passengers.
Accent’s standard front-seat active head restraints help prevent whiplash by automatically reducing the space between a front occupant’s head and the head restraint during certain rear collisions and are highly recommended by organizations such as the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Active front head restraints are not available on Fiesta or Mazda2.
Under the hood, the customers will be welcomed by the same 1.6 liter Gamma engine that can deliver 138 horsepower and 166 Nm peak of torque. According to Hyundai, the engine can return up to 27 mpg city / 38 mpg highway (US).
