Perodua who have had a great sales run with their MYVI hatchback, Viva compact hatchback and Alza family hatchback is now looking at ‘playing’ in the compact sedan segment. With guidance from their long time technical and technology partner, Daihatsu Motor Company of Japan, Perodua engineers and designers have in the last few years working to create this brand new concept model; The Perodua Buddyz. This concept model is the next evolutionary step of Perodua’s history to produce their own world-class upper body design that is made by local talent.
The Perodua Buddyz is a concept model that embodies years of research as well as trial and error in understanding the needs of the average Malaysian motorist.
Everything from exterior design to the construction of the engine was meticulously planned and executed to give their customers the best motoring experience at an affordable price. Using a brand new locally made aluminium engine to meet global standards in terms of low carbon emissions, this engine is claimed to offer good performance and class best fuel efficiency.
