The 3S centre, known as Supernau Motors Trading Sdn Bhd (“Supernau”), is an authorised PROTON dealer since the past 14 years. With the initial building cost of RM4 million, the 3S (sales, service and spare parts) Service Centre has been serving customers in Bintulu as well as the surrounding areas such as the towns of Tatau, Sedauh, and Mukah.

The Supernau 3S centre, which won the PROTON Edar Best Improved Service Centre in 2013/2014 and PROTON Edar 4th Best Service Centre in Malaysia in 2013/2014, sits on a 1, 200 square meters area. The outlet is located at Lot 4401, Jalan Tun Razak, Tanjung Batu, 97000 Bintulu, Sarawak.

Speaking at the ceremony, En Norzahid highlighted that the latest upgraded centre is a full-fledge comprehensive 3S centre in Bintulu to cater to the increasing number of Proton vehicles in the area and its surrounding.

“PROTON Edar has since started its transformation initiatives by upgrading selected outlets into 3 and 4S centres. The event with our dealer, Supernau today marks the first transformation initiative for East Malaysia. Supernau will cater to the needs of customers in both the residential and industrial areas of Bintulu apart from the surrounding areas. The new re-freshed facility is another testimony of PROTON’s commitment towards our customers as we always strive to give our customers the utmost priority,” said En Norzahid. Currently there are 2 Proton Edar outlets in Bintulu and Supernau is the first 3S centre for Bintulu.

“Bintulu is currently undergoing significant progress in infrastructure development. Addressing such potential was key in our decision to re-freshed our outlets in this area. This was further reinforced with the result of our study which revealed that Sarawak is indeed our fastest growing market in East Malaysia. Towards this end, we are committed to continuously deliver high quality products and provide excellent service to our customers here in Bintulu,” En Norzahid added.

The PROTON Edar Supernau outlet is a 3S centre equipped with a comfortable customer lounge, a meeting room, Astro channels and free high-speed WiFi internet. Its service centre is equipped with four service bays with the capacity to service up to 30 cars a day.

The event today also saw the unveiling of PROTON’s new logo at the Supernau 3S centre. The logo is from the rebranding exercise it underwent in 2013 and En Norzahid was tasked to see through that all PROTON authorised outlets make the necessary changes to keep the look and feel of the brand consistent. All other PROTON outlets are currently carrying out this initiative nationwide on a staggered basis.

In conjunction with the event, three (3) new units of the Iriz were presented to their proud owners. They were Nur Shazwanie Binti Mahmud, Nelson Anak Akok, Abd Rahman Bin Wahad.

Adding more cheer to Sarawakians, PROTON is currently offering its customers a special Chinese New Year’s promotion package with rebates up to RM 7,988 for all models.

PROTON currently has 270 service outlets nationwide with 16 outlets upgraded to 4S centres.
