Malones Debut Bar Crawl Competition

Malones recently celebrated Saint Patrick’s Day with a half-day bar crawl and attracted many Guinness fans in the drinking and “crawling” competition affair (but with safety in mind, all drinkers we were given free taxi rides). The drinking bash was one of Malones’ way to give back to its customers and it was a night not to be forgotten.

“Almost any day is a good day to get together over a few drinks. St Patrick’s Day gives us yet another reason to reward our customers. And with the support of Guinness, and MyTeksi, the event turned out better than expected,” says Raymond Liew, Marketing Director, Chaswood Resources.

The drinking bash started in Pavilion at 3pm on Saturday and drew to a boisterous close in Jaya One at 10pm. The winner Sunil Vijayan, Kavita, Vern Law and Jesmyn Tan went home with tickets to an all-expense paid trip to Universal Studio Singapore.

“We enjoyed ourselves and the best part is we had fun and most importantly we drink responsibly,” said Suni, Team Leader.

Malones Bar Crawl was jointly organized with Guinness Anchor Berhad (GAB) and MyTeksi. The organizer is hopeful that this event continues to be an annual staple of the Irish restaurant and bar.
