TCR Weekend Racing, Honda Stays On Top
WestCoast Racing’s Kevin Gleason kept Honda on top of the times during second practice for the TCR International Series in Shanghai, ahead of team-mate René Münnich and Target Competition’s Andrea Belicchi. Gleason finished the session 0.419 seconds faster than Münnich, who had also been second fastest in the morning’s earlier practice session.
Italian Andrea Belicchi was third and the top SEAT driver, ahead of Craft-Bamboo Racing’s Pepe Oriola who, like earlier, was fourth fastest. First practice pace-setter Gianni Morbidelli ended the session in fifth, 0.704 seconds slower than team-mate Gleason. Both of Engstler Motorsport’s Audi TT Cup Cars fared better in second practice, with Mikhail Grachev heading Franz Engstler in sixth and the veteran German in seventh.
Qualifying takes place at 09:45 local time (02:45 BST; 03:45 CEST) today, Saturday.
