Aprilia Max 300 Launched in Malaysia for Less than RM32k
NAZA Premira Sdn Bhd, the sole and official importer of Aprilia brand of motorcycles in Malaysia, introduced the new Aprilia SR Max 300 – a maxi scooter that embraces the Aprilia sporting spirit and brings the Aprilia racing DNA to the road for pure enjoyment and riding pleasure, whether being used for around town commuting or higher speed riding on highways.
Suitable for every day travel, but also designed to provide an exciting ride for longer trips, the Aprilia SR Max 300 has great agility, offering practicality with top-notch motoring qualities in any road-riding scenario, be it city or country. It is equipped with a single cylinder 4-valve liquid cooled, electronic injected engine; characterised by a 75 mm bore and 63 mm stroke, it reaches maximum torque of 23 Nm at 6000 rpm. This, combined with a lowest in class weight of 161kg, results in excellent torque distribution and consequently energetic acceleration.
Aprilia has a reputation for style and the SR Max 300 certainly doesn’t disappoint. Standing out at first glance, the aggressive design traced by taught lines reflects the sporty nature of this vehicle, which sets it apart with a trendy and explosive shape.
The compact but light nose holds the aesthetic dynamism of the headlight assembly: A silver coloured grille is inserted between the two lights, a simple, thin screen which gives the SR Max 300 cc an energetic expression. The graphics, which encompass the light and the air intakes, create a “contrast” with the vehicle colouring, together with the “three-coloured” scheme and are flaunted on the upper part of the shield – giving the SR Max elegance and an unmistakable style.
The sleek and sharp tail fairing enhance the striking appearance of the SR Max 300’s rear whilst the generous but slender under belly, where Aprilia is emblazoned in silver, highlights its agility.
The two-colour saddle is made from a highly ergonomic sport fabric and equipped with lumbar support for the rider, guaranteeing comfort in any conditions. The handles, which frame the rear part of the saddle, ensure safety and reliability for the passenger.
The SR Max 300 has large scooter suspension: a hydraulic shock absorber with 35mm traditional telescopic fork is mounted on the front, while on the rear a pair of 3 position adjustable spring preload shock absorbers work to guarantee optimum balance of the vehicle.
The Aprilia SR Max 300 is available in the two classic and elegant colour schemes of Nero Aprilia and Bianco Glam.
