Perodua Provides Free Safety Checks This Raya with the Tweckbot
Perodua will be providing a free 50-point safety check to all Perodua vehicles at selected locations in conjunction with the upcoming Ramadan month and Aidil Fitri celebrations. Perodua is launching its second Tweckbot programme this year ahead of Ramadan to help ensure Perodua vehicles travelling to their hometowns to celebrate the first day of Ramadan are ready for the long journey.
“Ramadan and the subsequent Aidil Fitri celebration is a special time for Malaysians, particularly the Muslims, as some travel to their respective Kampungs to spend the first days of Ramadan together with their loved ones,” Perodua President & CEO, Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said.
The Tweckbot programme, which was introduced in 2011, was a first for Perodua whereby it engages its customers via social media to offer free safety inspections at specified time, date and locations. The programme was modified during the Chinese New Year celebration this year to reach out to more Perodua owners by using both new and traditional media to announce the time and location of the Tweckbot team. Aminar said the Tweckbot 2015 Chinese New Year programme attracted nearly 500 Perodua owners to check their cars before and after the festivities.
“We hope our customers will participate in this programme and we hope that they will continue to drive safely and responsibly,” Aminar said
The locations of the Tweckbot teams are as follows:
East Coast region:
12-14th June – Kuantan Parade, Kuantan
30, 31 July & 1 August – Giant K.Terengganu, Giant Gong Badak , Terengganu
Central region:
12 -14th June – Giant Shah Alam, Shah Alam
31 July, 1 & 2 August – Giant Shah Alam, Shah Alam
Terms and Conditions:
The Tweckbot team ONLY carries out the inspection of the vehicle and they would further give advice to the owner on whether or not the vehicle needs to be serviced or is due for repairs. The 50-points safety check includes an engine check, transmission check, coolant system (include coolant level as well as fan and temperature), brake system check (include brake fluid and brake pad wear), power steering system check, clutch system check, tyre check, suspension system check, electrical system check (include battery, lights and wiper checks) and engine diagnosis. A 20 % discount for parts and accessories will be given to all those vehicles that return to our authorized service branches and dealers. (Terms and conditions apply)
