Perodua Rewards Its Staff With Shopping Vouchers Worth RM450.00
As an initiative to assist its employees during challenging times, Perodua is issuing “one-off” shopping vouchers worth between RM250 and RM450 to over 9,400 staff nationwide.
“With the cost of living increasing, we are taking steps to address the best way of assisting our staff. We believe that these shopping vouchers will help, especially with the purchasing of essential items during upcoming Ramadan and Aidil Fitri,” Perodua President & CEO, Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said.
The shopping vouchers can be redeemed at selected hypermarkets.
“The recipients are those confirmed staff between the rank of non-executive and junior executive and we hope that they would use this assistance for the benefit of their families and loved ones,” Aminar said.
The vouchers were distributed to its staff, which are located nationwide, since last week. Among the other initiatives Perodua is focusing to improve the quality of life of its staff include the construction of a child care centre and Masjid at Perodua Headquarters in Sungai Choh, which is expected to be operational by next year. The Masjid, which has a capacity of 4,000 worshipers, will also be opened to the community neighbouring Perodua’s Headquarters.
Perodua has 11,000 staff under its employment covering 6 companies; which are Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Group holding Company), Perodua Auto Corporation Sdn Bhd, Perodua Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, Perodua Engine Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, Perodua Global Manufacturing Sdn Bhd and Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd.
