Straton Watch Co. Vintage Driver Chrono
Straton Watch Co. is a young watch brand established by Kyle Schut, who is passionate about classic cars, motor racing and watchmaking art. The debut timepiece from the brand is Vintage Driver Chrono, an exceptional sports watch inspired by the dashboards of classic Alfa Romeo Alfetta GT car.
The Vintage Driver Chrono takes it inspiration from the Veglia Borletti tachometer of the Alfetta GT seen by the two-digit minute/second markers, also the needle-like wedge of the second hand. Just like the instruments in the car, the Vintage tan colour on the dial creates a retro feel and comes to life at night with green lume. The dial features a Chronograph 60 minute timer (left), a 24 hour display (right), a small 60 seconds dial (Bottom) and a sweeping chronograph seconds hand (centre).
The engine that beats inside is the Seiko VK64 mecha-quartz hybrid chronograph calibre. The stainless steel case is 44mm wide and 12mm thick and has a knurled bezel. Each Vintage Driver Chrono timepiece will be tested for a water resistance up to 100 meters.
The Vintage Driver Chrono is available in 5 colour variations Black, Blue, Orange, Grey and White. The customer’s will also have a choice of having watch either with or without a date window. The Vintage Driver Chrono will be supplied with a plain colour NATO strap and two racing striped NATO straps inspired from the classic racing Era.
