Honda Malaysia releases new colour for the City
It’s not always easy to add a new colour to a model lineup. Colours that don’t fall within the realm of black, white and everything in between are usually a big risk for a company to take, but in some cases they do pay off with surprising sales figures. Honda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. today announced a new colour, Dark Ruby Red Pearl, for their City range.
The new colour was introduced in the City’s colour line-up after a good number of Honda customers chose red as their preferred new colour for the City. Since its launch in March last year, 55,587 units of the 4th Generation City has been sold as of 17 August 2015. The City contributed 41% of the Honda Malaysia’s total sales in the first half of 2015, and there are now more than 200,000 units of City on Malaysian roads.
The new Dark Ruby Red Pearl complements four other colours of the City – Taffeta White, Modern Steel Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic and Crystal Black Pearl and is available in all Honda showrooms nationwide.
