TCR Asia Series to feature in Singapore F1 pre-event festivities
With the maiden season of the TCR Asia Series fast approaching, cars are starting to arrive in Malaysia ahead of the opening round (Sepang, 4-6 September), but whilst teams are working feverishly to prepare for the event, so too the promoters who will be in Singapore this weekend for a pre-Grand Prix launch at the ‘Light Up The Night’ Carnival.
In conjunction with the Singapore Formula One Grand Prix, the Singapore Airlines ‘Light Up The Night’ Carnival provides local fans a chance to get a feeling for what the annual F1 Grand Prix has to offer, with both the TCR International and TCR Asia Series competing at the popular street race.
It’s an exciting time for the new category, which will not only bring international class Touring Car competition back to the Asian region, but will also see two other Regional and 11-national championships begin for
the 2016 season.
The Singapore Airlines ‘Light Up The Night’ Carnival will take place at the F1 Pit Building, 1 Republic Boulevard in Singapore between 1:00pm and 9:00pm on August 22 and 23.
