36 years ago today, Carl Edwards was born. This American professional stock car racing driver is well known for celebratory backflips.
Edwards currently drives the No. 19 Toyota Camry in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for Joe Gibbs Racing but he’s also been behind the wheel of the No. 99 Ford Fusion for Roush Fenway Racing.
He’s biggest wins include the 2007 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship and tied for the number 1 spot during the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series title.
