Picture Of The Day_Renault 16 TS_Car Of The Year Winner
Just months after its introduction in Europe, the Renault 16 TS was awarded “The Car Of The Year” Award by an International jury of 32 established motoring journalists. The TS 1565cc engine, with its Gordini hemi-head, was capable of producing speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour in top gear, 80.5 mph in 3rd and 53 mph in 2nd. Not many were sold in our country but the remaining few are treasured despite their lack of spare parts and interior fatigue.
