China Car Brand GAC Making Waves In Middle East

GAC Motor wows the 2015 Dubai International Motor Show with second generation automobiles GS4, GS5 Super, GA6, and also the all-new 1.5T engine as the most important motor show in Middle East officially kicked off at the World Trade Center Hall on November 10.

Chinese Ambassador to UAE Chang Hua, Consul General of China in Dubai Li Lingbing, CEO of Gargash Enterprises Samir Gargash joined general manager of GAC Motor Wu Song and over 100 journalists at the booth of GAC Motor and witnessed the release of GS4 in the Middle East. GS4 has been a huge success in the Chinese market since first released in April as a total of 21,000 GS4s were sold in October.


The second generation models displayed by GAC Motor on first day in Dubai has made strong impressions, critics praised the model’s superior performance in safety, quality and dynamic design that has overthrown the image of past Chinese automobiles, and GAC Motor as a world-class automaker from China continues to deliver responsible products to the international market.

“GAC Motor’s second generation products not only abide by the highest quality and safety standards, but also achieved technological breakthroughs that can represent GAC Motor’s research and development capabilities while demonstrating confidence in the global market,” said Wu Song.

In J.D. Power Asia Pacific’s 2015 China Initial Quality Study (IQS), GAC Motor has the highest ranking of all Chinese brands for the third consecutive year at the eighth place side by side with GAC Toyota among the 270 brands being surveyed.

GAC Motor’s strong global market strategy since 2014 has gained positive market recognition for the leading technological innovation, reliable quality and modern design. At the 2015 North American International Auto Show, Yahoo! Finance awarded GAC Motor “Innovation for the Future” and named it China’s new benchmark setter in automobile industry.

GAC Motor also established a comprehensive global supply chain of international standardized accessories and components that guarantees quality and marketing networks to provide the most convenient and efficient assistance.

As of now, GAC Motor has dealer and service centers in 8 Middle East countries and the sales in Kuwait has grown 300% in last year. With a head start in Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia, GAC Motor’s three-phase plan will gradually expand to Europe and North America to become a strong and global Chinese brand that targets mid to high-end markets.

In the future, GAC Motor will strengthen its position as the best Chinese automaker and release 20 to 30 models in the next five years while achieving production capacity of 350,000 by 2016, 500,000 by 2017 and one million by 2020.
