BMW X4 Tuned & Worked On By LIGHTWEIGHT
This time, the subject is X4, BMW crossover-SUV. The LIGHTWEIGHT-team under the lead management of Marc MÜLLER has provided BMW “SAC” race car with in-house stainless-steel mufflers with 4 x 90 mm tailpipes. The latter are coated in frozen-grey matching the car color and provided with embossed Lightweight-logo. The system is optionally available with sound generator, with the help of which the sound and volume can be selected.
The exterior of the X4 is fully foliated in dark frozen grey. To protect the car, ceramic two-component solid filling is applied including on discs. While the front spoiler sword is available in black gloss or carbon fiber, mirror covers, rear apron insert and spoiler are made in LIGHTWEIGHT- carbon fiber. Installed Hartge-Classic 2-wheelset in 9.5×21 with Michelin PilotSuperSport in 245/35-21 at the FA or in 10.5×21 with 265/30-21 at the RA is protected with four component permanent sealing. Moreover, in-house complete suspension with Bilstein-components provides for 30 mm lowering.
Increase in performance can be achieved at LIGHTWEIGHT either with the help of additional control unit to 365 hp (= 268 kW) and 690 Nm of torque or through field optimization to 375 hp (= 276 kW) and 700 Nm of torque as well as Vmax-increase to 280 km/h.
The interior captivates through black alcantara. The center console is sewn with double contrast stitching and LIGHTWEIGHT-logo is embroided in velour floor mats. Finally, aluminum pedals and LIGHTWEIGHT- auxiliary display. Innovations arise from passion rather than satisfaction; this is at least the motto of Hessen, continuously confirmed.
