Early this year, TCEC had announced that it is maintaining prices across its Renault product line-up in Malaysia, despite the continuing unfavourable foreign exchange that is impacting imported vehicles and components as well as increasing production costs.
Through the new promotion, customers can enjoy more value for their money and added peace-of-mind with free instalments for one year – which translates to RM15,000 in savings – in addition to being covered for the next five years by the unbeatable ‘5inFluence’ service and maintenance package.
With the Renault Fluence, customers will also appreciate a reliable and robust sedan that features a host of innovations, a comprehensive safety package and a spacious premium interior.

In addition to not having to pay instalments for one year, new Renault Fluence customers can also enjoy more cost savings and worry-free experience through Renault’s unrivalled ‘5inFluence’ package.
Available for all Fluence variants sold in Malaysia, the worry-free ‘5inFluence’ service and maintenance package includes:
- A five-year manufacturer’s warranty with unlimited mileage
- Free maintenance for five years or up to 100,000km, whichever comes first
- One-year genuine parts warranty
- Complimentary pick-up service for every scheduled servicing
- A 48-hour Mobility Solution which provides a courtesy car when a customer’s Fluence stays in the service centre for more than 48 hours
Robust, Reliable and Innovative
The four-door Renault Fluence sedan combines a distinct modern style and generous proportions that sets it apart within its segment with performance and comfort, resulting in a sturdy, smart and functional design.
Recognised for its strength and reliability, the Renault Fluence is powered by a 2.0L 16V 140 petrol engine that is mated to a CVT X-Tronic automatic gearbox, delivering improved responsiveness while ensuring optimal fuel consumption. The CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) technology enables gear changes without delay, which allows for smoother gear shifting especially in acceleration.
In terms of performance, the Renault Fluence delivers maximum power of 143PS at 6,000 rpm and peak torque of 195Nm at 3,750 rpm.
The Renault Fluence comes packed with innovations for added connectivity, convenience and ease-of-driving. It comes standard with the Renault R-Link multimedia system and a 7-inch touch screen display with in-built navigation, USB connectivity and hands-free Bluetooth kit with music playback.
There is also a hands-free card that offers keyless entry with start, stop and walkaway lock functions. Other standard equipment and features include daytime running lights (in the Dynamique variant only), rear blower, EPS power assisted steering, automatic wipers and headlights, follow-me-home lighting, a reverse camera, as well as automatic dual zone air conditioning.
Comprehensive Safety and Spacious Comfort
Engineered with security of occupants in mind, the Renault Fluence delivers on comprehensive all-round safety with passive and active safety features including ABS with EBD, ESP (Electronic Stability Program) with ASR (traction control), six airbags (front, side and curtain), ISOFIX child seat anchors on the rear side seats, cruise control with speed limiter, as well as height adjustable 3-point front seatbelts with pretensioners.
The Renault Fluence also offers a premium interior with leather upholstery (in the Dynamique variant only) and exceptional in-cabin spaciousness. There is ample rear and front headroom as well as extended legroom of 238 mm. A class-leading boot space of 530 litres, which can be expanded with foldable rear seats that split 1/3-2/3.
Pricing and Availability
The Renault Fluence is available in two variants, Expression and Dynamique, priced at RM108,888 and RM119,888 respectively (on-the-road inclusive of GST without insurance for private individual registration in Peninsular Malaysia).
Five colour options are available – Crimson Red (Dynamique variant only), Ultra Silver, Black Metallic, Mars Grey and White Pearl.
