Bentley Kuala Lumpur Inspires Students to be Extraordinary
The Bentley #BeExtraordinary International School Competition, initiated by Bentley Kuala Lumpur and The British High Commission Kuala Lumpur, took place at The Alice Smith School today, where HRH The Duke of York, Prince Andrew presented the winning team, International School at ParkCity, with a Bentley Experience at the Asian Le Mans Series.
Bentley Kuala Lumpur, in conjunction with the Education is GREAT campaign initiated by the British High Commission Kuala Lumpur, provided a platform for International Schools to design a Bentley to be launched in 2050, which encompassed a pre-eminent British refinement to the design, as Bentley is known for.
In conjunction with the visit of HRH The Duke of York, Prince Andrew to The Alice Smith School, all teams had the opportunity to present, as well as further elaborate their concepts to The Duke in person. The students were extremely excited about the opportunity and received valuable encouragement from The Duke.
The participating schools in this competition were The Alice Smith School, British International School, Epsom College in Malaysia and the International School at ParkCity.
The first prize of the Bentley #BeExtraordinary International School Competition went to The International School at ParkCity, announced today, and The Duke presented the winning team with the prize of a Bentley Experience at the Asian Le Mans Series.
Due to the marginal score difference between the winning team and the runner-up, the Bentley Experience at the Asian Le Mans Series was extended to the runner-up, which was The Alice Smith School.
Participating teams were also presented with exclusive Bentley merchandise as a reward for exhibiting ideas that were beyond extraordinary. Bentley Kuala Lumpur will also display the concepts presented by the students, at their prestigious showroom in Kuala Lumpur.
