Suzuki Ertiga is coming to town
This is a compact MPV that offers some interesting new advantages to the segment. The design of the Suzuki Ertiga blends stylish, bold looks with flowing, aerodynamic lines. Each detail of the exterior has been refined to lend it flair, performance, and character befitting a category creator.
With all seats upright, 7-people can ride in comfort. And there is still 113 liters of room for their shopping and outdoor fun equipment in the rear of the 3rd row seats. The middle row seat has a slide adjustment to allow occupants to adjust the space of each row of seats.
This MPV is powered by the 1.4-liter K14B derived from the popular Swift hot hatch where there is a decent 95PS at 6,000 rpm along with 130Nm of torque. Power is driven via a proven 4-speed automatic transmission. It is an efficient well proven drivertrain combination that suits the needs of the segment.
With the Swift running in its DNA and its platform the Ertiga will be a good around corners and on the open highway. The Ertiga will deliver good fuel economy.
Its immediate competitors start with the popular Toyota Avanza and then the Nissan Livina and finally there is the soon to be launched Honda BR-V with its 6-seat configuration.
