Volkswagen Kicks Off the “Vento Turbocharged Tour”
Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) will be organizing the “Vento Turbocharged Tour” which will be held at 11 selected locations across the country.
True to Volkswagen’s philosophy that its cars are better experienced than explained, this tour provides participants with the invaluable opportunity to personally feel the power of the Vento’s turbocharged engine, and be educated on basic car safety and driving skills. This includes proper sitting and steering wheel position, emergency braking, defensive driving skills and also slalom courses. Adding to the exhilaration, members of the public can also participate in various stunt demos sessions.
The award-winning Volkswagen Vento comes with a 1.2l TSI turbocharged direct injection engine paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. With the highest torque in its class, the Vento offers superior driving performance that participants will truly enjoy. The Vento is also rated 5-star by ASEAN NCAP for its range of safety features including Electronic Stability Control (ESC) which participants can put to the test.
Members of the public can also test drive other Volkswagen models, and enjoy special offers on bookings made during the event.
The “Vento Turbocharged Tour” is free of charge and the driving activities are open to those with a valid driver’s license. Details of the first three Tours are listed below:
