Moulding Professional Drivers with VPCM’s “Polo P” Project

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) continues its popular “Polo P” project with new venues for participants in Klang Valley, and the northern and southern region.

The “Polo P” project was developed with the mission to educate and empower new drivers with the skills and knowledge to stay safe on the roads. Launched in March this year, the program had already garnered over 250 participants to-date, consisting of students from private tertiary institutions and young adults around Klang Valley.

The “Polo P” project takes place at selected college and university campuses over the course of a weekend. Participants are taught basic car maintenance, visual checkpoints, proper sitting and steering positions, and defensive driving which includes emergency braking, and a slalom course. All driving exercises are conducted in the Volkswagen Polo 1.6L hatchback – might be small in stature, but is certainly big on fun.

In line with the “Polo P” project – Volkswagen is running a special “My First Polo” program for first time car buyers – where interested participants can purchase a Volkswagen Polo 1.6L from RM470* a month with Volkswagen’s leading partnering bank.
