Kia Shooting Brake Concept Challenges Aston Martin & Porsche Concepts
This ‘shooting brake’ concept takes Kia into a brand new segment just like how the Stinger did a few months ago. A shooting brake is entirely different to a station wagon like what Kia has produced in the past. Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo and the limited-edition Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato are shooting brakes cars that have brought very emotional responses and looking at this Kia it is clear that the Kia brand wants to lure more enthusiasts into showrooms.
Kia’s shooting brake concept will make its full debut on September 12, which is the opening day of the Frankfurt Auto Show. It’s too early to tell if it will spawn a production model or if it will remain a design study, though most of the brand’s recent concepts have made the jump to production.
