What Happened to the Kia Sportspace concept?

This was a concept shown by Kia Motors to the auto world back in 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show which naturally made the wagon body style look so very sexy, almost taking on Volvo at their game.

It carried the trademark Kia “tiger-nose” grille design, with the rest of the front fascia reworked and restyled for a wider, more aggressive look. The concept’s wheels also looked aggressive and sporty with a turbine-style interior spoke pattern.

The Sportspace concept shooting brake body style also sowed how Kia designers made the sheetmetal fold into the rear bumper along with chrome exhaust tips. Designed at Kia’s Frankfurt studio, the Sportspace looks like the design study for the now Stinger from Kia.
